Millennium Falcon 1:164 scale model build

After watching a documentary about Star Wars on Disney+ I suddenly had the urge to build the millennium falcon. I found this inexpensive 1:164 scale model with integrated lights and sounds which I thought had a good amount of detail, that when properly weathered, would look great. 

The model already comes with some painted on decals but the overall color is too beige for my taste.

The model only has a dozen parts. Most of them also got some weathering applied. 

Assembly only took a couple of minutes. Here’s the final result after having applied a clear coat to fix the soot and brown dirt that was applied via dry brush. 

I am quite please with this little model. It only took a couple of hours of work and the result turned out fine. Another nice object for my shelf : )
